Do you want to go further off-road with your Mercedes ML W164 and – more importantly – return unharmed? Then solid protection for the vehicle's flanks is essential. Since the ML has a self-supporting body, RTECH is the only manufacturer to offer a specialized solution to effectively protect this excellent off-roader against obstacles such as stones or tree trunks.

Robust Construction & Thoughtful Design

These rock sliders have been specially developed to strike a balance between luxurious appearance and uncompromising off-road protection:

• Material & Manufacturing: Made from a combination of solid steel tubes and laser-cut sheets. CNC precision manufacturing ensures an exact fit along the body line.

• Effective Protection: The sliders cover the body edge from below and protrude far enough outwards to protect the doors from side collisions off-road. Several integrated drainage holes prevent the accumulation of mud and water.

• Full Ground Clearance: The design is optimized so that the rock sliders sit flush. The valuable ground clearance of your Mercedes is fully preserved.

• Surface Protection: The set is sandblasted and has a double powder coating in matte black (RAL 9005).

Mounting on the Body Sill

Installation is specially tailored to the W164's structure:

• Preparation: For mounting, the original plastic side skirts are removed.

• Secure Fastening: The rock sliders are connected directly to the original sheet metal sills of the body. For this, holes are drilled and a total of 26 high-quality rivet nuts are installed to ensure a stable and permanent connection.

• Complete Set: The set includes all necessary screws, washers, and rivet nuts, as well as an installation manual.

Colors & Finishes

As standard, we supply the rock sliders in Matte Black (RAL 9005).

• Custom RAL Color: For an additional charge, we can produce the rock sliders in your desired color. Simply enter the RAL code in the comment field of the ordering process.

Note on Custom Colors: Since the rock sliders are specially manufactured for you when a color request is made, the right of withdrawal for these personalized items is excluded.

Important Notes

• Specialist Workshop Recommendation: Since the installation requires setting rivet nuts and precise drilling into the body sill, we strongly recommend having the installation carried out in a specialist workshop.

• Production Time: Since each set of rock sliders is manufactured individually, the delivery time is up to 8 weeks.

• Legal: These rock sliders do not have road approval (no expert opinion/ABE). Please clarify a possible individual acceptance before purchase with an expert.
