Equip your Land Rover Discovery (L319) for truly tough off-road missions. A winch is often the only insurance when you're out alone or stuck in deep mud. Our specialized mounting plate provides the necessary, highly stable foundation to securely integrate a winch into the front of your Discovery.

Robust Construction & Elegant Integration

Despite its massive construction, the plate almost completely disappears behind the optics of your Land Rover:

• Material & Manufacturing: The base is a solid steel hollow section (60x40 mm). The other components consist of laser-cut steel in thicknesses from 4 mm up to 12 mm, precisely CNC bent and welded.

• Corrosion Protection: To be permanently protected against weathering, the entire construction is galvanized.

• Subtle Appearance: The plate is designed to be mounted behind the original plastic bumper. A precise cut in the bumper is required for the fairlead and recovery eyes.

• Includes Heavy-Duty Recovery Eyes: The set includes two additional, extremely robust screw-in hooks/recovery eyes. These mounts serve as secure attachment points for recovery straps or the winch rope.

• High Tensile Strength: The plate easily accommodates winches with a pulling force of up to 13,000 lbs (approx. 5.9 tons).

High-Strength Frame Mounting

Mounting takes place at the most stable point of the vehicle to securely absorb the enormous pulling forces:

• Stable Connection: The plate is directly attached to the front end of the vehicle frame with 8 massive M12 bolts. This guarantees a rigid and extremely durable connection to the chassis.

Optional Surfaces

The plate is delivered in a galvanized finish as standard.

• Powder Coating: For an additional charge, we offer an additional double powder coating in matt black (RAL 9005).

Important Notes

• Specialist Workshop Recommendation: Since installation requires adjustments to the bumper and safety during recovery depends on correct frame mounting, we strongly recommend installation by a specialist workshop.

• Production Time: As each winch plate is custom manufactured, the delivery time is up to 8 weeks.

• Legal: This mounting plate is a technical component for off-road use. Please clarify its registrability (especially regarding pedestrian protection and bumper cut-outs) before purchase with an expert.
